本堂信仰宗旨


  • 士德頓基督教真道堂是一間不分宗派的獨立教會。
  • 以全部聖經為我們的信仰、行事為人和教會事工的唯一原則。
  • 我們相信全部聖經都是神所默示的﹐因此是無誤和有最高權柄的神的話語。
  • 我們相信聖父聖子聖靈三位一體的真神。聖父是創造和掌管宇宙萬物的主宰。
  • 我們相信聖子耶穌基督是上帝的獨生子﹐從童女馬利亞因聖靈懷孕而生﹐
  • 為世人的罪被釘在十字架上而犧牲﹐第三天從死裡復活、升天﹐將來要從天上降臨﹐審判活人和死人。
  • 我們相信聖靈的工作是榮耀主耶穌基督﹐使人知罪認罪﹐信靠救贖主耶穌得到永生。
  • 聖靈住在信徒的心中作心意更新的工作﹐教導、帶領和加添力量給信徒走成聖的道路﹐
  • 過一個榮神益人的生活﹐為基督作美好的見證。
  • 我們相信人是按照上帝的形象所造﹐但因犯罪墮落而與上帝隔絕。
  • 唯有籍著信靠主耶穌基督我們的罪才得赦免﹐與上帝和好﹐回到天父的懷抱當中﹐得到永生。
  • 我們相信要遵守主耶穌親自教導的聖禮﹐就是聖餐禮和水禮﹐
  • 是紀念和象征主耶穌基督的死和復活﹐使我們蒙恩得救。
  • 我們相信基督是教會的元首﹐所有信徒是基督身體中的肢體﹐
  • 我們聚在一起為的是敬拜祂﹐榮耀祂﹐聆祂的教導﹐遵行祂的旨意。
  • 我們互相扶持﹐配搭事奉﹐建立神的家﹐即基督的身體﹐就是教會。
  • 任何人不分種族、語言、背景、性別﹐只要真誠接受耶穌基督作個人救主﹐曾接受水禮﹐並同意我們的信仰宗旨﹐我們都歡迎你參加成為我們教會的會員。我們互相關懷愛護﹐支持勉勵﹐同心事奉﹐遵行主耶穌吩咐的大使命﹐廣傳福音﹐領人歸主。


MISSION STATEMENT


  • Stockton Chinese Christian Church is a non-denominational independent Christian church. The Holy Bible is the one and the only one principle for our faith, life, and ministry.
  • We believe that the Bible, the Old and New Testament, provides the ultimate authority for Christian life and faith and is inspired by God and without error.
  • We believe in the I AM WHO I AM Triune God, revealed as the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. The Holy Father is the creator and denominator of the whole universe.
  • We believe in Jesus Christ, the only Son of God and the Word became flesh, born of the Virgin Mary. We believe that Jesus Christ died for us on the cross, was buried and that in three days He rose from the dead and ascended to the Father, and He will come again to give the final judgment.
  • We believe that the Holy Spirit is the third person of the Triune God. He is the comforter who guides and inspires us to accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior. He leads and enlightens us in understanding God’s Word and He also guides and inspires our daily walk with God.
  • We believe that God created man, male and female, in His own image and the world has sinned. Only through the blood of Jesus Christ, by repentance and faith in God, can a person be saved. We believe people are justified by faith in Jesus Christ.
  • We believe that we should follow the teaching of Jesus Christ by serving the Holy Communion and being baptized in memorizing the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
  • We believe that Jesus Christ is the head of the Church and all believers are members of the body. Gatherings of the Church are for worshiping Him, glorifying Him, listening to His teaching, and following His Word. We support each other, serve God jointly, and build God’s family ---the body of Jesus Christ--- the Church.
  • Any person, who has accepted Jesus Christ as his/her savior, has been baptized, and agrees with our mission of faith, is welcome to join us as a member of our church, regardless of his/her race, language, gender, and personal background. We care for each other, encourage each other, serve God with one heart, follow the mission given by Jesus Christ, spread the Gospels, and accompany people into God’s world.
